4 3 2 1 (Paul Auster)

This one is FAT, but very fascinating, though the beginning is a bit slow and I know you don’t believe in that lol. Essentially, it explores how choice, circumstance, and possibility affect the infinite versions of  lives that someone could live.

Synopsis: This novel follows the four different versions of the same man, and how the choices of those preceding him as well as his own choices affect the life he lives.

Lucy's Rating:

Paired stuff: Philosopher Hanna Arendt, who discusses that evil may just be a result of lack of knowledge. Also, Jean-Paul Sartre and his version of existentialism.
